About Diane Kirvan

As an area resident since 1973 and former mortgage broker and bank manager, Diane, who is currently a multi-million dollar real estate sales producer, is ready to help you to help you with your real estate needs.

Prior to becoming a Realtor in 1995, Diane spent 16 years in the banking and mortgage lending fields. She’s been a licensed mortgage broker, an assistant manager for a large savings & loan association and a manager for First State Bank of the Florida Keys. For 4 years, Diane took on a new challenge as a Director of Workplace Education for the Volusia Literacy Council. Diane developed three award-winning workplace education programs in Volusia County. She served, part-time, for 4 consecutive years, as a Loaned Executive for the United Way of Volusia County, raising thousands of dollars to help support many of the area’s non-profit organizations.

In 1995, Diane became a licensed real estate salesperson and sold homes in the unique Florida Keys, from Marathon to Key West. In 1997, she earned her Broker’s license.

While with RE/MAX, Diane became a member of the select group of outstanding RE/MAX International performers, attaining RE/MAX Platinum Club status and was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame.

As a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Diane is among an elite group of less than 4% of Realtors® who handle 25% of all real estate transactions nationwide. For many years, Diane has been in the top 5% of all Realtors® in the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors®, in market share of dollar volume sold.

Diane holds the following designations: ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), AHWD (At Home with Diversity), CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Manager), ePro (Internet Certified Expert), GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Institute), PMN (Women’s Council of Realtors Performance Management Network), RSPS (Resort & Second Home Specialist), SFR (Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) and is a recipient of the Women’s Council of Realtors® 2009 & 2010 Honor Circle Award and 2010 Member of the Year.

Diane and her husband, John, a special agent for the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, have live in Port Orange since 1980 and also lived in the Florida Keys from 1995 to 1998. They also resided in New Smyrna Beach from 1973 to 1980. Their daughter, Colleen, a Spruce Creek High School, University of Central Florida and Stetson University educational leadership masters degree graduate, is a district supervisor for Volusia County schools, specializing in exceptional student education, and currently manages their educational program for hospitalized/homebound students.
